The post workout nutrition program that Michael Jordan famously ate to lose 40 pounds and become a legend in his adopted hometown of Chicago.
Michael Jordan has become a household name in the NBA and now, he is the poster boy for post workout meals that are the equivalent of the next Jimmy John’s or Subway.
The Chicago Bulls star’s post workout program was designed to help his body to gain mass while also gaining muscle.
This post workout eating program was developed with Dr. Michael F. Katz of the Institute of Nutrition and Metabolism at Northwestern University and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
The program was originally developed for Michael to lose weight and gain muscle.
The program consists of: The first meal of the day, consisting of one meal consisting of: a turkey sandwich (containing: one egg, one slice of bacon, a small dollop of mayonnaise, and a tablespoon of tomato sauce) The second meal of each day consisting of a meal consisting: a steak sandwich (one egg, two slices of bacon) and one salad.
Finally, on the last day of the program, Michael is given a meal of chicken, steak, and an egg sandwich.
It is important to note that there are no calorie or fat requirements for the program.
Michael will eat whatever he wants as long as it does not contain a caloric, fat or protein component.
Dr. Katz said the following about the post workout feeding program: The goal of the post-workout feeding program is to stimulate the metabolic rate in the liver to maximize the recovery.
This is achieved by feeding an additional meal of an amino acid rich meal such as whey protein, which is used in muscle recovery.
Whey protein is one of the most abundant and beneficial amino acids in the human body and helps to fuel the body.
The whey contains several key amino acids that can be used to stimulate muscle growth.
This type of amino acid is often used in sports nutrition as it stimulates the immune system.
Once the post program meal is complete, Michael will consume the following: A protein shake consisting of either: three eggs or three slices of turkey; a chicken sandwich consisting of chicken with a slice of tomato and cheese, a large dollop mayonnaisse, and lettuce.
A protein shake containing three egg whites and three slices bacon.
Two protein shakes containing two eggs and three chicken with slices of cheese.
Three slices of chicken and two slices lettuce.
The protein shakes are then consumed within 2 hours of the end of the workout program.
After the post exercise eating program is complete and the athlete has completed a workout, Michael’s body will be stimulated to release anabolic hormones (such as growth hormone, testosterone, and growth hormone-releasing hormone).
These hormones will help to support muscle growth as well as improve performance and overall health.
These are the three meals that MJ would eat for breakfast.
Here are the ingredients that comprise his post workout breakfast: Two eggs, one turkey sandwich, and two lettuce.
