The Denver Post reports that after three months of negotiations, Kittery Trading Post and the Denver Post are in a deal to sell the lottery tickets that went on sale this past weekend, according to sources.
Kittery is owned by a company called Denver Post Media Group.
The Denver Post owns the Denver Herald.
Kitty Trading Post is an online brokerage service that has over 100,000 members in the Denver metro area.
Its stock is traded on the Nasdaq and is currently trading for $6.95 a share.
The shares trade at a premium to its peers on the New York Stock Exchange and have a high trading volume.
The Denver Post says that Kitterys stock is up nearly 40 percent since it went on the market on Friday and is trading for a premium of nearly 50 percent.
The deal is expected to close by the end of the week, according the Denver Business Journal.
