The Crescent Appletons are in the news today as they are getting ready to open up a new office in Washington D.C. The Appleton announced that they are opening up the office on Thursday morning, the same day they will officially open their doors.
The Crescent Applets is a news and entertainment website that offers an app for iOS and Android that allows users to search local and national news, video, and photos for topics like the eclipse, climate change, and more.
For those not familiar with the Appletones website, they are a team of freelance writers who have put together a list of the top local news stories for their area each week.
Their first big push was the inauguration of President Donald Trump in January, and since then they have done a lot of work on the eclipse.
Crescent has been on a bit of a downswing since the inauguration, and their first big news item is a story about a woman who was arrested for driving without a license and driving under the influence of marijuana.
The article notes that it is a relatively new situation for people who drive under the impression they have a license.
“The problem is that a lot more people are arrested for it, not just in the city of Washington D.” said the article, which is still live on the Crescent website.
“In fact, in Washington state, only 3% of all traffic tickets are written by a police officer.
If you do get pulled over, it can cost you up to $2,000.
If you have a DUI or a Class B DWI, you could end up in jail for six months.”
According to the article the Appleton team is still working on their apps and have not announced when they will have a new website open.
